Infoveranstaltung: Certificate Intercultural Competence

Das Certificate Intercultural Competence (CIC) ist ein extracurriculares Angebot der Universität Hamburg. Das Zertifikat wird Studierenden der Universität Hamburg ausgestellt, die sich in besonderem Maße mit interkulturellen Themen beschäftigen.

Es ist eine Anerkennung für interkulturelles Engagement und eine zusätzliche Auszeichnung für Studierende. Die erfolgreiche Teilnahme an drei von vier Bausteinen berechtigt zum Erwerb des Zertifikats.

Das Certificate Intercultural Competence umfasst ein interkulturelles Training als Pflichtbaustein sowie Sprachkurse, international ausgerichtete Lehrveranstaltungen, internationale Erfahrung und interkulturelles Engagement als Wahlbausteine.

Das Zertifikat kann in beliebig vielen Semestern innerhalb der Studienzeit an der Universität Hamburg abgeschlossen werden.

Information Session: Certificate of Intercultural Competence

The Certificate of Intercultural Competence (CIC) is an extracurricular activity offered by Universität Hamburg. The certificate is issued to students of Universität Hamburg who are especially engaged in intercultural issues.

It is an acknowledgement for intercultural engagement and an additional distinction for students. Prerequisite to obtaining the certificate is the successful participation in three of the four modules offered.

The Certificate of Intercultural Competence comprises a mandatory module of intercultural training as well as language courses, internationally-focused classes, international experiences, and intercultural engagement as elective modules.

The certificate can be completed in any number of semesters during your time of study at Universität Hamburg.
